![]() Have you placed the Nav panel onto the Master Page. ![]() When I preview the pages they are as I want them at the moment BUT although the MASTER background appears there is no sign of the navigational panel! I have now jumped that hurdle but I have uploading issues. Thank you for your comprehensive and helpful explanation. On master page ensure that you have inserted links into the nav bar. You must do this for all new pages that your create if you want then to be the same. This ensures that this index page will carry the header and footer details from your master page. Now then when you are on index page lokk down at the bottom left hand side of the screen and in properties ensure that use master page has a tick in it, then select master page from the drop down list. The index page should be your home page, do not rename this as it need to be called index.html to work properly, so on the index page just insert what you want your home page to look like. With this the rest of the pages on your website will look the same as this page, but will also have the details from that page as well. But in the middle of the page it is important to insert a content placeholder. At bottom of page you would have your footer which is normally your contact detals etc. The Master page is the page wher you would put your logo ect along with your nav bar at top of page. I am afraid I am a WYSIWYG user and do not do any coding.Įasiest would probably be to put the navigation menu on the master page. I have yet to upload the pages to the host servers. The menu panel is on the pages but no action from them. I have just created a new site and in the Master Page I created the horizontal navigation with drop down items and for all the other pages they are copies of the Master page.
